Here you'll find information about our commitment to ensuring the privacy of your personal information and how we may use the information that you provide to us.
Our site may contain links to other sites that are not managed or maintained by Elder Helpers. Your dealings with these sites are covered only by the privacy policies listed on those sites, which we encourage you to read carefully.

Why does Elder Helpers ask for my information?

In order to participate in activities and services offered by Elder Helpers as a volunteer or a subscriber needing assistance, you will be asked to provide some personal information.  This may include such information as your name, birth date and contact information.  We may also request certain generic information that will help us better serve you as a volunteer or a subscriber looking for assistance.
As a volunteer, certain of your information is made public on the Elder Helpers website so that subscribers using the Elder Helpers website are able to determine whether you are a candidate to provide the assistance needed.   Information that is made public includes your name, geographic location (city), your photo, the types of assistance you are able to offer, the length of time you have been a volunteer  and your “personal statement,” if you choose to provide one.

As a subscriber, your personal information is never made public on the Elder Helpers website except for testimonials or photos that you send us regarding your experiences with Elder Helpers and our volunteers.

We only collect personal information from you that you furnish voluntarily.

Can I opt out?

Of course you can.
